prepositions at/on/in

Tout d'abord un petit commentaire perso. J'ai et je pense que j'aurai toujours du mal avec l'utilisation de ces prépositions. Et concrètement, la SEULE solution, c'est de les apprendre sans chercher à trouver une équivalent logique (NOTRE logique) en français. (facheuse tendance qu'on peut avoir nous les froggy). So, let's start !!

They use :

At for the time of the day

    at ten o'clock
    at lunchtime
    at midnight

On for days and dates

    on monday/mondays
    on 21 july 1998
    on Easter
    on Christmas Day

In for longer period (days/months/years/seasons)

    in September
    in 2005
    in the past
    in the 80's

expressions :

At :

    at night
    at the weekend
    at the moment
    at Christmas
...

In:

    in the morning
i    n the evening
i    n the night

On :
    on  monday afternoon
    on saturday morning
...

Exceptions :

they do not use  at/on/in before last/next /this/every

I'll see you monday (not on monday)
